The 24th Annual North Central Texas Area Fire Protection School sponsored by the Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department was a tremendous success.  Some 310 students representing 81 different fire departments from throughout Texas made the trek to Mineral Wells to participate in this year’s school.  They were awarded some 4,144 training hours by the Emergency Services Training Institute, a part of the Texas Engineering Extension Service of Texas A & M.
