Message from the Chief

On behalf of the men and women of the Mineral Wells Police Department, it is my honor to welcome you to our website.

The Mineral Wells Police Department is a small-town organization largely based upon small town values. The police department is comprised of 32 sworn personnel, 3 part-time sworn personnel, and 15 civilian staff. Each employee is committed to serving with excellence, transparency, compassion, and a community first attitude.

As your Chief of Police, I assure you that our team will work hard to reduce crime, focusing on high crime areas as well as areas of community concern. I believe that every citizen has the right to feel safe in their community and we will work diligently to improve the quality of life in Mineral Wells. I promise to lead with compassion, treating every citizen with dignity and respect, and upholding the highest standards.

The Mineral Wells Police Department is a progressive agency in a fast-growing community. We like to collaborate with our businesses and citizens to maintain the needs of the community along with assisting in being proactive to crime. We look forward to forging strong relationships and partnerships with our businesses, citizens, and area Law Enforcement Agencies. Our Mission

It is the mission of the Mineral Wells Police Department to protect the rights of all persons within its jurisdiction to be free from crime, to be secure in their possessions, and to live in peace. By pursuing the goals of education, prevention, enforcement, and community partnership, it is the primary objective of the Mineral Wells Police Department to pursue the ideal of a community free from crime and disorder in a fair, responsive, and professional manner. We will strive to make the City of Mineral Wells safe for all citizens who live, work, and play here.
