The City of Mineral Wells is accepting applications for a position on the Board of Adjustment/Building and Standards Commission.
This board renders interpretation of zoning ordinance; considers special exceptions to land uses and variances to building controls set by zoning ordinance. This board also administers the City’s condemnation/demolition program. Members must be a City resident and qualified elector. The board consists of five members, four alternates. Members serve two year terms. This is not an advisory board, decisions are final. The board normally meets on the third Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m.
