New Council Wards were adopted by Council January 11, 2022.
After each Census, the City Council reviews population data to determine if the four Council ward boundaries should be updated to maintain population balance between each ward.
At the December 7, 2021 City Council meeting, a third-party consultant presented an analysis of the 2020 Census results and reported that the City Council should consider modifications to the Council wards.
On January 11, 2022, the City Council adopted the boundaries set forth in the maps presented by Bickerstaff, Heath, Delgado, Acosta, LLC.
Please check the link below to determine if you are in a new Ward. If your ward has changed, new voter registration cards will be sent to the registered voters by the Palo Pinto County Elections Office.
