Citation and Water Bill Payments

In an effort to protect the health and safety of our citizens and employees, effective March 18, 2020, the City of Mineral Wells will temporarily absorb the 4% transaction fee for all credit card transactions.

The purpose is to promote electronic transactions and facilitate social distancing during this national coronavirus emergency.

  • We ask that citizens utilize credit cards, debit cards, bank drafts or online payments to avoid in-person transactions at City Hall.
  • If you cannot utilize any of these forms of payment, a drop box is available at the entrance to City Hall.
  • We cannot accept cash in the drop box--but money orders or personal checks are an acceptable form of payment.
  • The U.S. Post Office across the street from City Hall is one convenient source of money orders.  The local banks are other possible sources of money orders.
  • While the City does accept personal checks (with driver’s license number and date of birth denoted on the front of the check), please note that the Municipal Court cannot accept personal checks for payment of court fines.

The City of Mineral Wells thanks you in advance for your cooperation during these challenging times.
