Stage nORMAL

Voluntary water conservation is encouraged.

Stage 1

  1. Achieve 10% reduction in total use.
  2. Unattended landscape watering will be permitted two days a week. Other outside use is permitted.
    1. Addresses west of Highway 281 will be Monday and Friday.
    2. Addresses east of Highway 281 will be Tuesday and Saturday.
  3. No unattended landscape watering on any day between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm.
  4. Hand watering of landscaping, shrubs, gardens, and grass is permitted anytime.
  5. Soaker Hoses and Drip Irrigation permitted anytime.
  6. Construction must utilize Reuse Water.
  7. Implementation of Blending Brazos River Water .

Stage 2

  1. Achieve 20% reduction in total use.
  2. Unattended landscape watering will be permitted one day a week. Other outside use is permitted.
    1. Addresses west of Highway 281 will be Monday.
    2. Addresses east of Highway 281 will be Tuesday
  3. No unattended landscape watering on any day between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm.
  4. Draining and refilling of Swimming Pools will not be allowed.
  5. Maintaining Swimming Pool levels will be allowed.
  6. Hand watering of landscaping, shrubs, gardens, and grass is permitted before 9 am and after 6 pm.
  7. Soaker Hoses and Drip Irrigation permitted anytime.

Stage 3

  1. Achieve 25% reduction in total use.
  2. Only outside water use permitted will be Soaker Hose, Drip irrigation and animal use.
  3. Commercial uses not listed will be controlled to the extent directed by the City Manager.

Stage 4

  1. Achieve 30% reduction in total use.
  2. Soaker Hose and Drip Irrigation permitted on Tuesday and Friday. 
  3. Animal use exempt.
  4. Implementation of RO Facilities.

Emergency Water Conditions
