MMC – MASTER MUNICIPAL CLERK
International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) grants the MMC designation only to those Municipal Clerks who complete demanding education requirements and who have a record of significant contributions to their local government, their community, and the state.
In light of the speed and drastic nature of change these days, lifelong learning is not only desirable, but it is also necessary for all in local government to keep pace with the growing demands and changing needs of the citizens we serve.
The Municipal Clerk is required to have completed the Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) program and be designated as a CMC before entering into the MMC program.
Sharon McFadden earned the CMC designation in 2021 and the MMC designation in 2023. She is an IIMC Athenian Dialogue Facilitator.
