[ARCHIVED] TRASH AND RECYCLE RESTRICTIONS

Beginning Mon, Mar 30, Waste Connections, the City’s waste service provider, will temporarily limit residential trash and recycling.

Items should be securely bagged or within container carts and no residential bulk and brush collection services.

Currently they are requiring all residential trash be bagged and tied, and limiting residential bulky waste collection to 2 cubic yards.  Any loose, bulk, or brush bundles placed outside of carts will not be collected, in order to minimize the risk of exposure through manual collection or “pickup by hand.” These changes in service are the result of Waste Connections moving into Phase III operations in response to COVID-19 and are anticipated to last through May 1, 2020.

If customers have questions about the changes to their service, please contact the City of Mineral Wells at 940-328-7777 or publicworks@mineralwellstx.gov.
