[ARCHIVED] WHAT TO DO IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE THE CORONA-VIRUS

• Presenting Symptoms – Cough, sore throat, congestion, shortness of breath and/or fever. Contact the PPGH Hotline (8 am – 8 pm) 940-328-6555 and follow the instructions provided by medical staff.

  • If testing is required go to the location assigned and then self-isolate.
  • Once available the lab will provide the positive or negative result to the patient.
  • If the result of the test is positive, state and local health authorities (Epidemiologist) will follow up with the patient to give instructions on care and investigate who the patient has been in contact with.
  • The Epidemiologist will then contact the individuals that were in contact with the patient who tested positive and instruct them accordingly.
  • The Epidemiologist will continue to follow up with the patient and provide further instructions.
