The Board of Adjustment/Building and Standards Commission Residential Code Board of Appeals renders interpretation of zoning ordinance; considers special exceptions to land uses and variances to building controls set by zoning ordinance. It also administers the City’s condemnation/demolition program. Board members must be City residents. The board consists of five members and four alternates with two-year terms. The board is not an advisory board, its decisions are final. It meets on the third Thursday each month at 9:00 a.m.
The Fire Code Board of Appeals renders interpretation of the International Fire Code.
