The Mineral Wells Housing Authority Board is the governing body for the Housing Authority, it oversees the Shady Oak Circle projects and Section 8 Housing. The Housing Authority is appointed by the City Council, but it is not a department of the City. It is a five member board with two-year terms that expire on January 31.. The board meets monthly.
