The Mineral Wells Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Board of Directors is the governing body for the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Two. A tax increment reinvestment zone (TIRZ) is a political subdivision of a municipality or county in the state of Texas created to implement tax increment financing. TIRZ Board members are appointed by the City Council. The board consists of nine members with two-year terms. The board meets as needed.
